How to take care of your endoscopic camera system?

Endoscopic camera maintenance:

5. disinfection of the camera using degreasing cotton and medical alcohol or povidone-iodine wipe, can not be used in high temperature and high pressure mode or immersion mode on the camera and the link device for disinfection.

Monitor maintenance:

1.Don't switch the power supply of the endoscope monitor regularly. Failures occurring in general medical monitors are common in the switching of the power supply, and frequent switching will cause the voltage in the transformer to be unstable, thus damaging the switch.

2. To set the screen protection of the endoscopic monitor. The service life of the LCD monitor is decisively affected by the service life of the backlight tube, so we should remember to switch off the power of the backlight tube when the monitor is not in use.

3.Regular DICOM grey scale check for endoscopic monitors.CRT tubes are unable to perform automatic brightness adjustment function, and their brightness may decrease with long time use, which requires re-calibration.

4. Pay attention to the reading environment of the endoscopic monitor to keep a soft light, avoid too bright light or direct light.

Otorhinolaryngoscope maintenance:

1.The camera is forbidden to be rinsed with acidic or alkaline liquid, and the lens cannot be wiped with hard cloth.

2. The electronic optical cable should not be bent excessively, and the fibre end face and contact eyepiece on the light guide beam should be cleaned regularly to ensure that the light beam is transmitted clearly and brightly.

3. Turn off the switch of the instrument and then turn off the main power supply after the operation to protect the instrument and prolong its service life.

4. After the operation, rinse the blood stains on the surface of the instruments with flowing water, open the clamping part with a small toothbrush and gently brush the blood stains on the axial joints to rinse clean.
