With the development of endoscope instruments technology, it has been widely used in clinical practice due to its safety, low trauma, low pain, low misdiagnosis rate, few complications, and fast recovery. Quality control and maintenance during the use of endoscopes are a reliable guarantee for their safety and accuracy. Electronic endoscopes are characterized by their high prices, complicated structures, easy damage, and high maintenance costs. Therefore, operators and engineers must strengthen daily maintenance to accurately identify faults and timely deal with them.
The light guide bundle emits light from the cold light source and transmits it to the body part to be examined through the endoscope instrument. The objective lens captures the image of the part to be tested on the CCD surface. The CCD drive circuit acquires images through the CCD, converts the optical signals into electrical signals, and emits standard video signals. The light signal is transmitted to the video processor through the cable, and after processing and restoration, it is displayed on the monitor.
The image processing center processes CCD signals and sends them to the monitor. Different imaging principles of the imaging centers of medical endoscopes make them unable to connect and use each other. When using electronic endoscopes, it is necessary to ensure that the endoscope overlaps with the image processing center. Otherwise, unnecessary errors are likely to occur. Adjust the light and dark related to the light source equipment, observe the concentration and color changes of the image, and input data through the keyboard to adjust remote control functions.
The cold light source is a device that guides the light beam into the endoscope and provides internal illumination. Xenon and halogen bulbs are commonly used, and these two bulbs are called "cold light sources" because they are made of infrared absorbing coatings, which reduces heat generation. The center of gravity is mainly located on the bulb and the gas pump. There is a brightness adjustment button on the front panel, which can be adjusted according to the inspection needs. The gas pump is the necessary energy source for supplementing water and air supply for medical endoscopes. The front panel of the cold light source is equipped with a power switch for the gas pump. Some models of cold light sources also provide size selection for the gas pump.
The monitor is used for image output of endoscope instruments, and its quality directly affects the image quality. Many hospitals pay more attention to resolution when choosing monitoring equipment.
Electronic endoscopes are precision electronic medical devices used for intracavitary examination of human organs. Ordinary electronic endoscopes consist of the following parts: electronic endoscope, cold light source system, image processing center, monitor, and printer. Because the components of electronic endoscope instruments are more complex, professional training must be conducted before operation and use. If operation errors occur, irreversible damage may be caused to the electronic endoscope.
